Care Instructions

Dhaka Weaves are easy care fabrics.

All Dhaka textiles are lovingly hand-loomed-one thread at a time.

Cotton Care:

Dhaka means cotton in Nepali. Cotton is the traditional and original natural fabric for Dhaka Weaves textiles. Most Dhaka cloth is woven with weft-inlay patterns enhanced by dazzling colors.

1)      Hand wash in cold water, line dry or

2)      Wash on delicate cycle in cold water; air dry in dryer for 10 minutes to remove excess water; hand press; line dry; touch up with iron if desired.

Silk Care:

Silk is the most difficult medium to work in as it is so fine and so very intricate. Due to its high quality and luminosity, it costs twice as much and requires 2 to 3 times more labor to produce. Hand wash and drip dry only; touch up with a cool iron if desired or dry clean.

Pashmina Trimmed in Dhaka Care:

Pashmina is considered the world’s premier cashmere. The name is derived from pashm, the Persian word for wool. Hand wash and drip dry only; touch up with a cool iron if desired or dry clean.
